Tabbatha O'Donnell and I have been discussing ways to have our students remain connected as the walking parties for the year wrapup. We are considering using How to be an Explorer of the World by Keri Smith as a text that our students can explore together. The book contains a series of small projects that encourage people to look more closely at their everyday surroundings to find the patterns, stories and connections that we often overlook.
