Creative Writing OOEL2 Footstep 5

We do a poetry unit -- "Everyday" poem -- in our syllabus which I've taken the liberty to redesign to incorporate the engagement the students make in Footstep 5. We are examining a few imagist poems, one is Elizabeth Bishop's "The Armadillo", to break down not only the meaning conveyed through the use of imagery, but also to discuss the issue of Do No Harm (also connected to To Kill A Mockingbird), and the other level of meaning in the poem.

So with Journey 2 Footstep 5, my students will take on this task (see pdf attachment).

I welcome any feedback to help make this better.

Thanks.

Sandra
